YWAM team to Alaska in December!
Bringing the heat from Kona, these faith-filled students will be on outreach with Pat Donelson & his local team in Alaska for a couple months. Their staff has been praying specifically for our state in several areas. For our World View studies this week, we learned about biblical principles that guide and define the 7 spheres in kingdom culture: Government, Education, Arts & Celebration, Family, Media, Religion, and Business. We all wrote prayers on colored sticky notes corresponding with each of the 7 spheres and walked over a giant world map to place the notes in specific regions we felt lead to pray.
Last week’s teaching on the holy Spirit was led by Alaska’s very own, Amy Ward. She is BURNING BRIGHTER than ever before. Although she was battling some physical demands, she poured out a huge impartation that I have been processing in awe. I have heard Amy speak powerfully before but this week revealed a softer confidence she has gained as a true friend of God. NORTHGATE LADIES, you don’t want to miss her teaching at the women’s advance Nov. 11th in Anchorage. I wish I could be there too. *I got a sneak peak from Michelle Todero of some of the stage design and its gonna be awesome of course.*

Missions in St. Croix
We are slowly gathering information about he YWAM base ministry in St. Croix where we will be on outreach around Dec. 22nd - March 1st.The most immediate needs in St. Croix are with broken families in poverty. Gang related crime is evident there and we will be working with the local long-term staff to meet the needs of families in the area through various ministries that could involve Cross-fit and basketball in the housing project community and through children’s camps on the secure base.

We are starting to find our stride here with our full class schedules. Most days begin with breakfast served at 6:15, classes all day, (Matt is taking RTC Crossfit, the boys are in Foundation School, I am in the Media Track), dinner at 6pm and ministry times in the evening. We just got back from “Jesus Burgers” ministry tonight where we shared Jesus and burgers with locals in downtown Kona.
